Henan D.R.Construction Group Steel Structure successfully completed the arch ribs of the steel tube arch bridge on the Fengzhen Super Bridge of the Ji-Da Railway
Recently, the arch ribs of the steel tube arch bridge of the Fengzhen Super-Long Bridge on the Ji-Da Railway, which was constructed by our company, were successfully closed. A total of 35 people, including the owner, the general contractor, the supervision unit, and the project management personnel of our company, attended the closing ceremony.
This project is the first steel tube arch bridge project undertaken by our company. It is located in Fengzhen City, Inner Mongolia, with a total length of 144 meters, spanning the Erguang Expressway, and a bridge deck width of 18.5 meters. The arch rib height is 4 meters, the arch rib plane rise is 28.52 meters, and the steel tube arch reaches 48.12 meters. The overall appearance of the arch ribs is 8° inward, shaped like a basket.
Due to the limited hoisting space under the bridge, a 300-ton crane was used to hoist two 80-ton cranes, one 25-ton crane, and two straight-arm trucks onto the bridge for construction. This posed high safety risks and significant construction challenges. Additionally, during the installation process, strict control was required over the overall linear shape and docking accuracy of the arch ribs. The technical process was complex, and the installation process was cumbersome.
To avoid affecting the smooth passage of vehicles under the Fengzhen Bridge of the Ji-Da Railway, the project department made precise time-node arrangements for bridge production, transportation, and installation. The company's workshops and sites worked together to successfully complete the closure of the arch ribs of the steel tube arch bridge 9 days ahead of the agreed time in the contract, which earned unanimous praise from the owner, supervisor, and general contractor.
The successful closure of the arch ribs of the steel tube arch bridge of the Fengzhen Bridge on the Ji-Da Railway has further enhanced the company's technical capabilities in bridge construction management. The company will continue to carry out in-depth research on applied topics based on its existing bridge projects, further strengthening the core capabilities of construction management technology, enhancing the application of new construction technologies on-site, and solidifying the foundation for the company's high-quality development.
