Henan D.R.Construction Group Steel Structure successfully completed the hoisting of the steel box girder for the Fangtang Expressway project across the Lannan Expressway

On the afternoon of December 29, 2023, the steel box girder project of the Fangtang Expressway over Lannan Expressway, undertaken by our company, successfully completed the hoisting operation across the road.

The hoisting operation across the road took place close to the New Year's Day holiday, and the hoisting of the steel box girder had strict time requirements. In order to minimize the impact on the normal traffic of Lannan Expressway and ensure the safety of high-speed driving, the company leadership attached great importance to it. The project department actively negotiated with all parties and cooperated with the traffic maintenance personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow, enabling the successful implementation of the hoisting work across the road.

This hoisting section crosses Lannan Expressway, and the maximum hoisting span of the steel box girder for the entire line is 88 meters. During the hoisting process, due to the large intersection angle of Lannan Expressway, high safety risks, and significant construction difficulty, the company leadership and project department personnel repeatedly discussed and analyzed the technical challenges of the hoisting operation. A 650-ton crawler crane was used for the hoisting, and the construction task was successfully completed. The heaviest steel box girder lifted during this operation weighed nearly 400 tons, setting a new record for the company's largest single-piece hoist!

The successful completion of this hoisting operation marks the resolution of the bottleneck project at the Liuzhuang hub and lays a solid foundation for the early opening of the Fangtang Expressway.
