Henan D.R.Construction Group Steel Structure successfully completed the first jacking operation of the steel truss beam project across the Dongliang Expressway Super Bridge

Recently, the Qingdao Dongliang Expressway Bridge steel truss project undertaken by our company successfully completed its first top-pushing construction.

The project is located in Huangdao District, Qingdao. The total steel consumption for the bridge is about 1,500 tons, with a span of 120 meters. It adopts a vertical rod-free triangular truss structure with a truss height of 13.5 meters and a truss chord center distance of 8.8 meters. The bridge crosses the Dongliang Expressway section, a major traffic route in the region. To minimize the impact on traffic, the project utilizes the top-pushing method to ensure safe and efficient progress without affecting traffic.

This construction is divided into three top-pushing stages, with the first stage involving a top-pushing distance of 44 meters. As the company's first project to use the top-pushing method, company leaders and project management personnel attached great importance to it, carefully planning and repeatedly reviewing the specific approach. During the top-pushing process, a series of dynamic management measures were implemented to ensure the accuracy and correctness of each construction link, leading to the successful execution and smooth completion of the first push task.

Compared with traditional construction methods, this jacking method resolved the conflict between road traffic and construction, greatly improving both traffic and construction efficiency and safety. It also provided valuable bridge construction and installation experience for the company, receiving high praise and affirmation from the general contractor and the owner.
