Zhengzhou High-speed Railway South Station Project
The station building covers an area of approximately 150,000 square meters, with 3 yards, 16 platforms, 32 tracks, and 30 platform surfaces. The track-bearing structure consists of steel columns and beams, with full penetration welds and uniform cross-sections.
The steel columns have upper and lower flange plates that are 60mm thick, with a 25mm thick web. Due to their complexity, they are challenging to weld and process, featuring various cross-sectional types and substantial tonnage (each steel column weighs 27.5 tons). The steel structure, with a total capacity of 9,000 tons, won the "Lu Ban Award" and the "China Steel Structure Gold Award."
