Academician Xiao Xuwen of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the group company chairman visited the Guodian Shuangwei Power Plant's new construction project to inspect and guide the work

On the morning of August 1, Huang Daoyuan, Chairman of the Group, Wang Qingwei, Vice Chairman, Zhang Lan and Xu Anming, Assistant General Managers, and Shi Li of the Design Branch, accompanied by Xiao Xuwen, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Li Guoqiang, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Tongji University, Wang Yanbo, Associate Professor of Tongji University, Ding Tao, Assistant Researcher of Tongji University, and Chen Chen, Researcher at the Technology Research Center of Tongji University, visited the new construction project of the Guodian Shuangwei Power Plant, which is undertaken by our company, to inspect and guide the work.

Academician Xiao and the Chairman visited the construction sites of the first and second phases of the Guodian Shanghai Temple Power Plant and learned in detail about the construction quality of the #2 and #3 steel structure intercooler towers. They then took the #2 steel tower construction elevator to the 14-story steel tower, which is approximately 147 meters tall, and inspected the sealing of the tower body, the high-altitude installation quality of the reinforced ring steel components, and the safety and civilized construction measures.

During the inspection, Academician Xiao, the Chairman, and his delegation held discussions with Zhu Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Production at the Shanghai Temple Power Plant of Guodian Inner Mongolia, Feng Zhiqiang, Chief Engineer, Ren Guofeng, Director of the Engineering Department, and other relevant leaders. They fully exchanged views on the construction quality, standardized management, and technological innovation of the Guodian Shuangwei Power Plant. Both parties expressed their expectations for subsequent cooperation in the second phase of the project.

On the afternoon of August 1, Academician Xiao, the Chairman, and his delegation held a seminar on the optimization of steel structure intercooler nodes with the project management personnel. The participants brainstormed, discussed the difficulties encountered in the current construction of steel structure towers, and summarized the direction for the next step in node optimization. The Chairman emphasized that the project management team should continuously summarize the technology during construction, form scientific and technological innovation results, continue to improve the steel triangle assembly process, and enhance the accuracy of steel triangle assemblies with high standards.
